the acadia pines motel is a charming 50’s style roadside spot that's been thoughtfully renovated. it’s just a few miles from the busy attractions, and we loved how you can park right in front of your room. opening the window for fresh air was nice, and the bagged continental breakfast in the morning was a clever touch.

A comfy stay with awesome staff
We had a bit of a hiccup with our car, but the manager was super chill and let us stay past checkout for no extra cost! The porch with rockers was a nice touch for relaxing, and we met some regulars who were really friendly. Just wish the A/C wasn't so noisy, made it hard to sleep sometimes.

While the room had a comfortable bed, it fell short in several areas. The shower had a persistent leak that soaked the bathroom floor, and the lack of adequate hot water made it frustrating. On a positive note, the overall cost-effectiveness was appealing, and I enjoyed the Swiss cheese served in the dining area. However, the customer service experience left much to be desired, as my concerns weren't adequately addressed.

A few more grab bars in the bathroom would help.

Our group loved the comfortable rooms and the beautiful grounds. We enjoyed exploring the national park, hopping on whale-watching boat tours, and relaxing after adventurous days. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. Don't miss out on the charming local spots nearby!
One issue was the delay in getting hot water, which took longer than we expected. Just a heads up for future guests!

This place was just a good match for a walk-in evening in Bar Harbor with high value for money. I appreciated that housekeeping was prompt and did their best with what they had. Bring your own coffee if you like it fresh because the coffee pot wasn’t clean.
